A lightweight waterproof coat for the walks where a heavy winter jacket is too much but going out bare is too little. Packs down small enough to keep in a coat pocket or the car door, so it is there on the days the forecast gets it wrong.

Measure the chest girth around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs, and check it against the size chart in the images. Chest decides the fit.

What it is not

This is a shell, not an insulated coat. It keeps rain off; it does not add warmth. For a cold January morning a fleece-lined winter coat will serve your dog better, and for a wet October afternoon this one will.
