General Terms and Conditions — My Petsworth

Article 1 – Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

Consumer: a natural person not acting in the course of business, who enters into a contract with My Petsworth.

Entrepreneur: My Petsworth, the seller offering goods via distance selling.

Distance Contract: a contract concluded between TradeTrends and the Consumer as part of an organised system for distance sales.

Right of Withdrawal: the right of the Consumer to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

Durable Medium: any tool that allows the Consumer or Entrepreneur to store information for future reference.

Article 3 – Applicability

These terms apply to all offers, distance sales agreements, and orders placed via My Petsworth. A copy of these terms is made available before the contract is concluded. If the contract is concluded electronically, the Consumer can download and store these terms.

Article 4 – The Offer

We strive to present all products accurately. However, minor variations in colour or appearance may occur due to screen differences. Each offer includes:

  • A clear product description
  • The price
  • Delivery method and timing
  • Return rights (if applicable)
  • Payment options
  • Offer validity period (if relevant)

Article 5 – The Agreement

An agreement is concluded when a Consumer accepts an offer and completes the purchase. My Petsworth confirms orders electronically. We reserve the right to refuse orders with clear errors or suspected misuse. Upon dispatch, you will receive all contract information by email, including return policy details, our contact information, and warranty information.

Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal

You may withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. During this period, handle the product carefully. You may inspect it as you would in a physical store. If you wish to return it, notify us within 14 days via email at info@mypetsworth.com. You then have another 14 days to send it back. Returns must be shipped with tracking.

Article 7 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal

Return shipping costs are always the Consumer's responsibility, unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned goods, we will refund the product cost (excluding original shipping fees) within 14 days.

Article 8 – Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or personalised items
  • Products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons and have been opened
  • Perishable goods such as food, treats, or live plants

Article 9 – Prices

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes where required. We are not responsible for pricing or typographical errors and reserve the right to refuse orders with incorrect prices.

Article 10 – Warranty & Complaints

We aim to deliver high-quality items. If you receive a defective or incorrect product, notify us by email at info@mypetsworth.com within 14 days, including your order number and a photo of the issue. In such cases, we will send you a replacement product or provide a full refund at no additional cost. Products must be returned unused and in original packaging where applicable.

Article 11 – Delivery

Estimated total delivery time is 6–12 business days. If your order is delayed or out of stock, we will inform you within 30 days. You may then choose to cancel your order for a full refund. The risk of damage or loss passes to you once the item is delivered.

Article 12 – Payment

All payments must be completed at checkout. The Consumer is responsible for entering accurate payment and delivery details. In case of failed or reversed payments, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Article 13 – Complaints Procedure

If you have a complaint, please email info@mypetsworth.com within 7 days of discovering the issue. We will respond within 14 days. If we need more time, we will inform you of the expected timeline.

Article 14 – Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. If you reside outside the Netherlands, Dutch law still applies.
