Cats do not need much: something to hide in, something to burst out of, and a reason to do both at speed. A collapsible tunnel gives them all three, and folds flat when you would rather not have one in the middle of the living room.

Four shapes, four kinds of play

Shape What it does
Straight The classic run-through. Longest of the four, best for a cat who wants to build up speed.
S-Shape Curved A bend in the middle means your cat cannot see the far end. Better for hiding and ambushing than sprinting.
T-Shape 3-Way Three openings. Two cats can play a proper chase without meeting head-on, and a nervous cat always has an escape route.
Y-Shape 3-Way Three openings at wider angles. Takes up less floor length than the T while still offering three exits.

Exact dimensions for each shape are in the product images. Measure the space you have before choosing — the straight tunnel is the longest and needs a clear run to be worth having.

Why three openings matter with more than one cat

A tunnel with two ends is a dead end when another cat comes in the other way. Cats who are not entirely comfortable with each other avoid anywhere they might get cornered — which is why a two-way tunnel often goes unused in a multi-cat house while a three-way one gets used constantly.

Getting a cat to use it

Do not put your cat in it. Put the tunnel down, walk away, and let them investigate on their own — that usually takes a day or two. A treat at the far end or a wand toy pulled through speeds it up considerably.

Care

Spot clean with a damp cloth. Twist and fold flat for storage; the frame springs back to shape when you release it.
