The measurements are the outside, sides included. The padded edges take up several centimetres all the way round, so the flat sleeping area in the middle is meaningfully smaller than the outer size. Measure your pet curled up and take the size above rather than below.

Which of our beds suits your pet

Three shapes, three sleeping styles:

• This one — sides all round, flat in the middle. For pets who want to be enclosed but still stretch out a little.
• Donut bed — round with a raised rim. For dogs who curl tightly into a ball.
• Sofa bed — bolsters on three sides, open at the front. For medium and larger dogs who like to rest their chin over the edge.

If your dog sprawls flat on their side and never uses an edge, a plain flat bed will serve them better than any of the three.

Care

Machine wash cool. Reshape the padded sides by hand while still damp so they dry with their shape intact — sides that dry flattened do not recover. Line dry rather than tumbling on high heat.
