Pick your size

Size up rather than down. A ball small enough to sit behind the back teeth is a choking risk. If your dog can fit the whole ball comfortably in their mouth, it is too small for them.

Teething puppies chew because their gums hurt. A chilled toy from the fridge gives more relief than a room-temperature one.

Safety

No rubber toy is indestructible. Check it regularly and replace it once pieces start coming away. Supervise a determined chewer, and take it away if they are working at it rather than playing with it.
